Exigy was amongst the active participants at this year's Informatix fair, which was held between the 6th and 8th of March at MFCC, Ta' Qali. Targeted at top business decision-makers, investors and service professionals in IT and eGaming, as well as students and IT enthusiasts, Informatix 09 aimed at showcasing what Malta has to offer on a local and international scale.
On Friday, 6th of March, the fair was specifically targeted for business-to-business trade. On this occasion, Exigy was invited to deliver an informative presentation on one of its cutting-edge technological solutions at the IT Conference. Mr. Francois Grech, Exigy's executive director, opened the conference programme by addressing attendees with an overview of Microsoft Business Intelligence capabilities and how these can contribute towards enhancing performance management across the whole enterprise.
Performance management challenges that people internal to the enterprise encounter, the typical flaws within operational business processes and the technological shortfalls usually encountered by enterprises were highlighted. These challenges were discussed in view of the data management and information delivery capabilities that form an integral part of Microsoft Business Intelligence solution. An explanation of the enhanced flexibility, added control, empowerment and pervasive value that BI tools enable were also presented and discussed.
Representatives from Exigy's Business Development team met with attendees during the networking session. Interested parties were demonstrated in more detail the power of the BI tools presented, as well as the capabilities of the other solutions that the company is capable of delivering and customising.
On Saturday, 7th of March, the fair was specifically targeted at students who are at the age of making a career path choice. Representatives from the company's Corporate Services section met with students in their early and late years of studies and explained how a career in ICT allows them bigger and better opportunities, with multiple possibilities of employment and career advancement openings. Students interested to work within the software development field were given a brief overview about Exigy and the career opportunities that the company offers to help them achieve an esteemed career within an exciting and dynamic ICT field.
On Sunday, 8th of March, the fair was open for the general public, mainly attracting businessmen and IT enthusiasts looking to inform themselves about the latest technologies on the market.
