Computer Solutions, in collaboration with IBM held a seminar targeted towards its corporate clientele.� The seminar was held at Le Meridien St Julians and focused on the IBM System i Solutions which are the most comprehensive and secure integrated business systems designed to run thousands of the world�s most popular business applications.� The seminar was opened by Mr Michel Demajo, Managing Director, Computer Solutions who introduced the first speaker, Mr Jordi Salazar.�

Mr Salazar is the Director of server sales for the Mediterranean Region.� In his speech, Mr Salazar emphasised and elaborated on IBM�s System i strategic priorities. The first business and technical presentation was given by Mr Nigel Adams, System i Product & Sales Program Manager for IBM in the UK.� Following his great success in the previous System i seminar, Mr Adams was invited yet again to participate in the event.�The second part of the seminar commenced with a presentation given by Mr Jorge Gros Haas who is the Managing Partner of Software Greenhouse, S.A.� Software Greenhouse has a very clear defined relationship with the IBM channel by providing high availability software and disaster recovery solutions for System i machines.�

Mr Gros Haas gave an in depth technical and business presentation.� The seminar ended with a closing speech given by Mr Oriol Vilas Maso.� Mr Vilas Maso is an Account Manager with IBM in Spain.� In his speech he emphasised the importance of fostering a close relationship with IBM customers through its business partner.� He also accentuated the importance of the business partner to maintain and support the System i business.� Computer Solutions� relationship with IBM spans over 21 years.� The company has supported System i from the first moment it was placed on the market several years ago.� During this time Computer Solutions has continuously invested in training, testing equipment and research to position itself on the market as the prime System i solution provider in Malta.�
