The M. Demajo Group, one of Malta�s leading privately owned commercial entities, has appointed a new CEO, Pier Luca Demajo, who takes over this role from his father, Joseph M Demajo who retains the Chairmanship of the M. Demajo Group.�
The M. Demajo Group will celebrate a hundred years of activity in two years time and today has second to fourth generation Demajo family members on its Board.� At 42 years of age, Pier Luca Demajo is a third generation Demajo family member. He has studied in Malta, UK, Switzerland and Italy and is a business management graduate.� For the past decades, he has led the Group�s IT and tourism business and was� also involved in the consumer products sector. He is married to Jacqui Sultana and has two children, Giulia and Dina.�
The M. Demajo Group is one of the most highly diversified business concerns in Malta. The Group is also a participant in various joint ventures and today its activities go well beyond Malta�s shores.� It is particularly strong in North Africa and is generating growing activity in Europe.� Corporate and family governance have allowed the Group to advance in line with the requirements of the new century while maintaining and cultivating its traditional family values.
