Malta’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Mr. Joseph Zammit Tabona recently visited The Malta Experience – Malta’s foremost heritage attraction presenting the islands’ historic milestones spanning 7000 years. Mr. Zammit Tabona is leading an initiative having the aim to showcase ‘Product Malta’ in one of London’s most prestigious venues ‘Harrods’.
The concept seeks to present our ‘Best of Malta’ identity spanning across commerce particularly financial services, IT and i-Gaming, from local produce with a selection of fine Maltese delicacies to handmade crafts, hospitality and naturally heritage, commented the High Commissioner. The exhibition which would run over a month-long period in 2012 promises to be an eye raiser and publicity opportunity targeting a staggering 1.2 million visitors to London’s iconic establishment.
Mr. Zammit Tabona was accompanied by Mr. Guy Cheston of Harrods who were on a specific trip to Malta promoting the marketing concept to both the private sector and government entities.
