The M. Demajo Group has once again embarked on a Corporate Social Responsibility activity this time taking part in the seventh CSR day celebrated annually in Malta on March 19, the Feast of St Joseph the Worker. Besides the M. Demajo Group, the companies that took part in the CSR day included Deloitte, Gasan Group of Companies, HSBC Malta, MiddleSea Group, Mizzi organisation, Simonds Farsons Cisk plc and Vodaphone. Employees of M. Demajo Group were allocated St Patrick’s School in Sliema and spent the day painting and carrying out all sorts of manual work in order to improve the environment in which these children live in. St Patrick’s school is a welcoming school for both boys in residence and day pupils. The general aim of the school is to promote the educational, social and moral development of each student first and foremost those in residence. It seeks to provide this in a positive and caring environment that facilitates the student to find safety and support. This activity follows another recent activity organized by M. Demajo Group to help support the shortage of blood in Malta, whereby a blood drive was organized on the premises of Demajo House. The M. Demajo Group actively pursues Corporate Social Responsibility as part of its corporate strategy.
