A number of M. Demajo Group employees lent a helping hand at K.I.D.S., the residential set up by Richmond Foundation, that assists children who have experienced severe emotional and behavioral difficulties, in order to develop healthy attachments, a sense of worth and personal development in a safe environment. A second group was posted at Floriana Hostel, which is an accommodation with 24 hour support to men with mental health problems. Maintenance work consisted of painting, scrapping walls, cleaning and organizing the various rooms, to make their home even more welcoming. Volunteers brought sweets and snacks for the kids, whilst Pedigree Toyshops donated some toys. The activity was organized by the Marketing department as part of the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. This was the first activity that was promoted through the CSR champions within each subsidiary, and the turnout was one of the best so far. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

Just a short note to thank you for the initiative and for choosing Richmond Foundation for your voluntary work.  The work carried out was of tremendous help and is appreciated by all.  I would also like to thank you for the toys.
