Christmas donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Group

The M. Demajo Group has this year decided to give its annual donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Group, although small in size, the needs of its members are many. To date, the Muscular Dystrophy Group care for about 40 effected members, mostly children and young adults who rely on the Group to provide them with home physiotherapy, personal assistants, electric wheelchairs, accessible transport and more, through funds raised every year. The Muscular Dystrophy Group has an expense of around Lm30,000 yearly. Most of this money is used on the Personal Assistant Scheme. The Muscular Dystrophy Group believes that its members have to be independent as much as possible, therefore the group pays for their Personal Assistants.
